Modest Feminine Plus Size Nursing Momma Wednesday

This week, we are layering and even adding a bit of fun jewelry that baby can teeth on. Maxi skirts are a must for busy moms that want to crawl around and play on the floor with their little love bugs.

Don't forget that the April Lilla Rose sale, for a free pair of Bobby's with $50 purchase, ends on the 30th.

Link for Tween modest dresses, going out of business

I just happened across a modest clothing site that seems to be going out of business. I really like the styles, but they have limited sizing available. I thought I would pass it along to my Tween readers.

A brand that I love...

I just wanted to bring attention to a website that I absolutely love to look at and dream about. If I had unlimited funds, I would no doubt have several of her pieces. This website is http://www.aprilcornell.com

I have purchased a few petticoats and over dresses for Tabitha when she was younger from EBay, and I can say with out a doubt that the fabrics and attention to detail are very much worth how much she asks for her clothing.

I thought I would just put this out there for anyone that can splurge on these types of modest clothing pieces.

Tween Tuesday

Phew! Is this hard. It seems all ever find so far for skirts are maxi skirts, which IMO... I could live in them, but tweens need variety, so I will keep hunting. But, for this week, here is what I came up with. I know, I know, it is a lot of black, and the patterns don't match, but that is all the rage right now. Plus, if you ever venture to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, you will fit right in, trust me! I actually love going up there and seeing all of the eclectic fashion.

Unfortunate

It seems at this time that Target has made a very poor decision and I cannot support them in any way. So, even though I found some skirts to put in my Tween series, I will not be using them. Until they retract their stance on gender confused bathrooms, I cannot, as a Christian, promote this company in any way.

Tween Tuesday

In the world we live in today, it is so hard to find modest clothing to wear for ourselves, but even more so for the young girls and daughters we try to keep pure. So, in addition to the series I started last week, I am going to try my hardest to keep up with this series also, Tween Tuesday's, to help the younger girls have a more fun and fashionable youth.

Children's clothing

One of the main reasons I started sewing clothes for my children, is because I cold never find anything plain. Everything had some sort of picture or writing on it. Now, it seems others have been looking for the same! A new website sells quality infant to child size 12 clothing in solid colors!
Follow this link and get $10 off. https://www.primary.com/i/Rebecca2016419218
This doesn't mean I will quit sewing, but it does lighten my load. Now if someone would make more modest skirts and shirts for girls...

Little girls need Flexi Clips too! www.lillarose.biz/beequabutterfly

I did it

There are only a few social media outlets that I have decided to, I guess you would say, try to enjoy?
I started out on Facebook because my brother really wanted to keep in touch better, so I joined. Now I run my own page as well as 3 other groups and my Lilla Rose business page. Next, I joined Twitter, for some unknown reason. Then, I kept hearing about Pinterest, so I joined. I have found a few things on there that are cute or helpful ideas, but I still don't understand how or why it's so popular. Now, I did it. I have joined Instagram. I still am not certain what it is really used for, but I am on it, and within a few hours, I had 9 followers, which I am totally clueless on how they found me in the first place. So, if anyone would like to follow me on Instagram, I am under Beequa Butterfly.

Also, if anyone would like to order from me, I currently have an Internet party going on until Sunday, April 24, 2016. Just go to www.lillarose.biz/parties/15778

Modest Feminine Plus Size Nursing Momma Wednesday

A blog that I read quite a bit, always has Feminine Friday's, which I really like, but I thought I need to put my twist on it. I am a plus sized, nursing momma, who is constantly looking for the best way to look feminine, and not frumpy. I decided about 7 years ago that I also needed to be modest about my dress. So, here we are. I am hoping to give encouragement to all plus, nursing moms out there, by showing we don't have to wear tents in order to dress modest and feminine, while feeding our little ones.

My definition of modesty and being feminine may differ from your own. In my opinion, modesty does not show your upper arms, your cleavage, your bra straps, your midriff, or your knees. To be feminine, is to look and feel pretty.

During this series, you will most likely learn, that I really like lace, eyelet, and pink, although the, I will try my best to switch it up. I also practically live in Bravado tanks to keep my midriff covered.

My plan is to give you 1-2 whole outfit ideas, from head to toe. I will be linking all of the items, so if you want to purchase any of the items, you will be able to do so.

From head to toe:
Lilla Rose Tiara Crystal Flexi Clip
Stella & Dot Deja Vu Pearl Studs
Thirty-One Avenue Scarf in Navy Perfect Pendant
Bravado Dream Nursing Tank in White
Dress Barn roz & ALI Plus Size Knit Top in Peach
Thirty-One Diamond District purse in City Charcoal Snake
OPI Infinite Shine You Can Count On It
Dress Barn Plus Size Navy Crochet Skirt in Shipshape Navy
Rockport Total Motion Taja Quarter Strap in Deep Ocean Casual Suede

If I had unlimited funds, I would definitely purchase this entire outfit! The Peachy pink shirt with the navy crocheted lace skirt and comfy Rockport wedges, you will definitely be ready for a day of shopping or lunch out with your mom and sisters (and baby or course)! Don't forget to get a matching Flexi to put on the scarf too.

Going with the flow

Well, I have discovered in life, it is better to just go with the flow, instead of fighting your way through. And so it is with business also. I have had quite a few plans fall through the past few days, but know what? I kept my chin up and proclaimed, "NEXT!".
My grand opening home party is now cancelled, I wasn't accepted, or there was no room on multiple craft shows I tried to get into for this month, and the list just goes on.
I did find a wonderful Facebook page that has other Lilla Rose consultants and also a local craft fair page that I now help others match up what they and I can do. A weight seems to be lifted from my chest. There is also another opportunity available to me, but I have people researching whether it is against policy or not.
Please keep me in your prayers. I believe God showed me this business for a reason. I pray that our family and friends will be blessed by it.
